Meeting Rooms
Reserving the Meeting Room
Who Can Reserve the Meeting Room
Non-profit Randolph community groups can reserve the meeting room by submitting the application form to the library director. All programs shall be open to the public, and no admission fees, dues, or donations may be charged.
For your convenience, we have made the Application for Use of Meeting Room (PDF). This is a fillable form which means it can be filled out on your computer and saved to your hard drive and/or printed out. You may email it to the Library Director or drop it off at the library. To view and complete it, you will need the freely available Adobe Reader software installed on your computer.
When Can the Room Be Reserved
The meeting room can be booked up to two months in advance. It is available only during regular library hours.
Attendance
Maximum capacity is 150 individuals. Children and youth groups (under age 14) may use the room provided there is one supervising adult for every 5 children.
Refreshments
Food is not permitted. Beverages in bottles, cups with lids, or travel mugs are permitted. Styrofoam cups with lids are not permitted. We have loaner mugs at the circulation desk. The meeting room does not have a kitchen, sink, or lavatory. Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
Fees
Non-profit organizations based in Randolph Township are not charged a fee.
Conference Room & Small Study
The library offers two enclosed rooms that patrons may use for meetings or to study. Non-profit Randolph community groups and Literacy Volunteers of America may reserve these rooms up to a month in advance. Reservations will be held for fifteen minutes past scheduled start time, after which the reservation will be lost. When not reserved, the rooms may be used by any library patron on a first-come, first-served basis. The conference room seats up to twelve people and contains a large conference table. The small study seats up to six people around a smaller table. An application form must be submitted prior to using the rooms. Forms are available in each of the rooms and at the circulation desk. No fee is charged for use of these rooms. Food is not permitted. Beverages in bottles, cups with lids, or travel mugs are permitted. Styrofoam cups with lids are not permitted. We have loaner mugs at the circulation desk.
Enjoying the Gazebo & Lawn
Between the library and the community center is a small park with a gazebo and lawn area used for our summer music concerts, storytimes, and other programs. You may visit it to enjoy the small children’s playground and picnic tables.
