Collection Routes
Overview
Curbside collection of both trash and recyclables is provided to all town streets with the exception of garden apartment complexes. Garbage is collected once each week; recyclables are collected every other week. Collection routes and schedules vary depending upon your neighborhood but it is important to note that the curbside collection of both garbage and recyclables will take place on the same day of the week.
Trash and recyclables should be placed curbside by 6 am on your scheduled collection day to ensure pickup.

Important Notes Regarding Service Interruptions
If curbside pickup services are interrupted or canceled due to snow or other unforeseen circumstances (i.e. labor shortage or strike, equipment failure), makeup days are the next business day (Saturday, if your regular day is Friday), weather permitting. Since the curbside collection of trash and recyclables is a contracted service, the decision to cancel or suspend service is at the contractor's discretion. If service is canceled or suspended for the day, an announcement advising of same will be posted on this website's home page and through other communication media (Facebook, Twitter, electronic signs).
