Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment is a semi-judicial board that hears development applications that are not in compliance with the zoning regulations. These may include simple variance requests for setbacks on residential properties to large commercial projects for which the proposed use is not permitted.

Board of Health
The advisory Board of Health provides advice to the township council and interfaces with the township’s health officer on a monthly basis.

Economic Development Committee
The aim of the Economic Development Committee is to promote sound economic development by: acting as a liaison between existing business/industry and township departments; encouraging business and industry to locate in the township; proactively identifying any problems relating to industry and other commercial enterprises; and, recommending pro-business policies, programs, and projects to the township council.

Environmental & Landmark Committee
The Environmental and Landmark Committee is empowered to conduct research relating to the protection, development, and use of open space and natural resources within the township and the protection, enhancement, and preservation of township sites and structures with historical, architectural, or cultural significance.

Library Trustees
The Randolph Free Public Library Board of Trustees oversees library operations including but not limited to managing all property of the library, constructing buildings for use by the library, purchasing books and other reading materials, hiring librarians and other personnel, and establishing rules and regulations for the library.

Municipal Alliance Committee
The Randolph Municipal Alliance Committee (MAC) was established in 1989 with the goal of combatting alcoholism and drug abuse in the community. It is one of thirty-one alliances in Morris County, all of which are overseen by the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse and funded through Drug Enforcement Demand Reduction (DEDR) fines that are collected for drug-related offenses.

Parks Advisory Committee
The committee reviews, plans for, and advises the council on the development, redevelopment, maintenance, use, and control of open space, parkland, and bikeways owned or otherwise available for use by the township. Additionally, it coordinates its activities and cooperates with other committees whose responsibilities are similarly related to the environment, open space, and recreation.

Planning Board
The Planning Board hears subdivision and site plan applications that are generally in accordance with the township’s land development regulations.

Recreation Advisory Committee
The Recreation Advisory Committee develops and recommends to the township council a year-round program of recreational activities for all township residents to be administered by the Randolph Township Department of Parks and Recreation.

Traffic Advisory Committee
The Traffic Advisory Committee works to identify and resolve traffic problems and issues in various sections of the township.

Trails Advisory Committee
The Trails Advisory Committee, established in July of 2017, serves as an advisory board to the township council on the use, development and maintenance of the township trail system as well as the implementation of the trails master plan.

Wildlife Management Advisory Committee
The Wildlife Management Advisory Committee serves as the advisory board to the township council on deer control programs and initiatives as well as provides general advice on wildlife management within the community.
