Trail System
Overview
Randolph's trail system runs a 16-mile course traversing five parks, the Clyde Potts Reservoir Watershed, and 2,000 acres of pristine open space. The trails link together schools with neighborhoods and connect to Patriots' Path at Combs Hollow and Old Brookside.
Randolph's trails should be viewed as a work in progress as we continue to pursue easements and funding to expand our trail network. The township funds 90% of design and construction costs through state grants and developer contributions. To date, over $1.5 million in state grants and developer contributions have been invested in Randolph's trails.
Open year-round, the trails can be used from dawn to dusk and are closed at night. During the winter months, there is no snow or ice removal, providing a wonderful opportunity for cross-country skiers and snowshoe enthusiasts.

Trails Experience
The Trails Experience Report (PDF) was compiled for a Girl Scout gold project by Randolph resident Juliana. It provides a user experience on the different trail sections as well as information on their difficulty, historical facts about Randolph, and useful information for users. All individuals should be aware of their own physical fitness levels before trying new activities.
Randolph Fairy Trail
The Randolph Fairy Trail is a whimsical attraction located at the Brundage Preserve. It's a nature trail that features a series of tiny fairy houses and scenes, crafted by Randolph residents, groups and businesses. The trail is designed to resemble a miniature fairy village, with intricate details and charming decorations. Visitors can stroll along the half mile gravel trail (1 mile round trip), discovering the various fairy dwellings and scenes, which are often hidden among the trees and foliage. All homes are made out of natural materials so they will not disturb the wildlife. The trail is open dawn till dusk from May to November. It is free for all and offers easy parking. To learn more about the Fairy Trail visit @RandolphFairyTrail on Facebook or Instagram.
Trails Master Plan

Completed in November of 2017, the trails master plan includes an assessment of the current trail conditions, an analysis of trail connectivity, an assessment of opportunities to expand the network by identifying specific trail segments, a maintenance plan, and recommendations for trail marking and branding of the system.
