JANUARY
January 6, 2026: 250th Kickoff!
Begins with the Council Reorganization Meeting with a proclamation recognizing America 250 for 2026!
January 2026: Randolph Library Wall of Wishes!
Stop by and share your wish for America’s future on the library’s Wall of Wishes!
January 19, 2026: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
As America 250 commemorates the nation’s journey toward ‘a more perfect union,’ Randolph honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s enduring call to service. On MLK Day, join us at the Community Center to donate to the Randolph Food Pantry and carry forward his vision of justice, unity, and neighborly care.
FEBRUARY
February 14, 2026: Patriotic Pairings: Charcuterie & Lemonade
Make fresh blueberry lemonade and assemble red, white & blue mini charcuterie boxes in this fun 2-hour class!
February 28, 2026: Red, White & Game Day
Bring your favorite board or card games and join us for a day of fun and patriotic trivia. Great for families, friends, and anyone who loves a good game and some friendly competition!
MARCH
March 28, 2026: Historic Bus Tour
Hop aboard for a guided tour of Randolph’s historical landmarks. Learn about our town’s rich past through stories and fun facts from local historians.
APRIL
April 4, 2026: Revolutionary War Grave Ceremony
The heroic Randolph citizens who fought in the Revolutionary War will be honored with a ceremony at the historic Baptist cemetery. The event will begin at 11am and include a prayer, brief speeches, a rifle salute, costumed re-enactments, and the decoration of the graves. Participants will include the Daughters of the American Revolution, the VFW, the Town Council, the Historical Society of Old Randolph and the Environmental & Landmarks Committee. Due to parking capacity constraints only the first 50 attendees will be admitted.
April TBD, 2026: Patriot Path History Walk
Take a guided walk along the Patriot Path and hear stories, quotes, and fun facts from U.S. history. A great way to enjoy the outdoors while learning something new!
April 19, 2026: The Kootz: Celebrating America's Music
A musical afternoon concert at the Randolph Library featuring American composers and artists.
MAY
May 2-3, 2026: Morris Co. Pathway of History
Morris Co. Pathways of History is a county-wide event, inviting visitors to explore the county’s rich past through a weekend of free open houses, tours, and special programs at historic sites across the region.
May 6, 2026: Joel Farkas: The Declaration of Independence: America's Birth Certificate
Join us at the Randolph Library for this presentation that discusses history from the Magna Carta (1215) to the French and Indian War to The Declaration of Independence to The Revolutionary War for Independence to The French Revolution to Napoleon to The War of 1812 to TODAY.
May 16, 2026: 9th Annual Arts in the Park
Our biggest celebration of art, music, and community! Enjoy live performances, interactive art stations, vendors, and patriotic touches throughout the park.
May 2026: Brushstrokes of America
Randolph Adults are invited to participate in this paint & share project sponsored by the Friends of the Randolph Library. Pick up a free painting kit beginning May 20th. Kits will be available while supply lasts. Create a patriotic work of art and return it to the Library by June 17. Paintings will be displayed June 23 to July 24.
May 25, 2026: Memorial Day Ceremony
Join the VFW and community members as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This solemn ceremony includes a wreath laying and moment of silence.
May 29, 2026: Macramé Flag Fun
Learn the art of macramé while creating a stunning mini-American flag wall hanging! Kids will be guided step-by-step through knotting techniques to craft a unique piece of patriotic décor.
JUNE
June 12 – August 21, 2026: One Book, One Community
Join the Library for their annual shared-read experience. Read a selected historical fiction title that takes place during the time period we are all celebrating this year. Books will be provided at the Library for checkout while supply lasts.
June 6, 2026: Outdoor Movie & Glow
Bring a blanket and enjoy a patriotic movie under the stars. We’ll provide glow sticks and bubbles for extra fun!
June 14, 2026: Flag Day Ceremony
Join the VFW for a meaningful tribute to our nation’s flag. Learn about the flag’s history and honor its legacy.
June 29, 2026: Brushstrokes of America for Kids
Children & Young Adults are invited to participate in this paint & share project sponsored by the Randolph Library. Pick up a free painting kit beginning June 29. Kits will be available while supply lasts. Create a patriotic work of art and return it to the Library by July 17. Paintings will be displayed July 24 to August 24.
JULY
July 1, 2026: Library Spice of the Month Club
Our Spice of the Month Club will be distributing Thyme this month. Thyme was used heavily during Colonial Times and relevant recipes will be provided.
July 8, 2026: Reading of the Declaration of Independence
Join us at the Randolph Library as we join the nation in a public reading of the Declaration of Independence.
July 1-31, 2026: Great American Showcase
Celebrate the USA’s 250th by decking out your home or business in red, white, and blue throughout July!
July 9-11, 2026: 50th Annual Freedom Festival
Celebrate 50 years of community spirit with fireworks, food, and fun! This extra-special edition includes live entertainment, games, and patriotic flair.
July 17-19, 2026: Patriot’s Cabaret, BYOB | 5 Shows | Fri, 7:00 PM, Sat & Sun 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
Join us for a musical journey through 250 years of American creativity. An evening of song, dance, and storytelling from 1776 to today!
AUGUST
August 8, 2026: Stars & Stripes Summer Social
Join us for a classic community gathering featuring lawn games, live music, and a delicious BBQ. Stay for sweet ice cream served by the Town Council as we come together to honor our community and country!
August 16, 2026: Sweet Taste of Freedom: Randolph's Peach Festival
Hosted by the Historical Society of Old Randolph, this family-friendly festival blends peaches, patriotism, and local history. Enjoy live music, lawn games, sweet treats and a whole lot of small-town charm. Let freedom (and flavor) ring!
SEPTEMBER
September 19, 2026: 20th Annual Country Fair, Rain: Oct 3, 2026
Our fall fair returns with food, games, live music, vendors, and more. Don’t miss the patriotic card-writing station for veterans!
OCTOBER
October 3, 2026: Encore & Entrées
Dine with Broadway flair at this throwback dinner where your servers sing! Enjoy classic tunes and a delicious meal in this fun, musical night out.
Oct 17, 2026: Historic Bus Tour
See Randolph’s historic landmarks bathed in autumn color. This special fall version of our popular tour includes seasonal stories and stops.
October 23-24, 2026: Haunted Trail: US Legends
Brave our haunted trail featuring American legends and ghostly soldiers! A thrilling evening perfect for all ages.
NOVEMBER
November 6, 2026: DIY Dog Bandanas: USA Edition
The Patriotic Dog Bandana fits nicely in November as a fun, feel-good craft around Veterans Day. It’s a great way to honor service (including service dogs!) and stay indoors with a cozy, fabric-based project as the weather cools.
November 6, 2026: Stars & Stripes Sensory Day
Celebrate with star-spangled crafts and sensory stations! A welcoming and inclusive event for children of all abilities.
November 11, 2026: Veteran’s Day Ceremony
Gather with the VFW and local leaders to recognize the service of our veterans. All ages welcome in this community tribute.
DECEMBER
December 5, 2026: Colonial Holiday Open House
Step back in time and enjoy holiday music! Features decorations, activities, and festive fun at the Randolph Museum.
