You would apply for a marriage license in Randolph if:

• either party resides in Randolph or
• neither party is a resident of New Jersey but the marriage ceremony will be performed in Randolph

Notice 

• Once the couple and the witness sign the application in the presence of the Registrar, there is a mandatory 72-hour waiting period before the Registrar can issue a marriage license.
• Booking a marriage ceremony officiant, whether the ceremony is religious or civil, is the responsibility of the applicant.  An officiant is not automatically booked, particularly an officiant of a civil ceremony, as a result of successfully completing the marriage application process.
