Clean Communities

NJ Clean Communities LogoRandolph's Clean Communities program is part of a statewide strategy to prevent the accumulation of litter on streets, beaches, waterways, parks, recreation sites, and vacant lots. As part of this program, Randolph holds two "Clean Communities Days" each year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

Civic groups, volunteer organizations, churches, and scout troops, as well as residents and businesses, are encouraged to participate. Mini-grants are made available to the groups and organizations that help to clean up our streets and public properties.

Scheduled on a Saturday, the day typically begins at 8:30 am. Assignments are given according to age and safety. Bags and gloves are provided. All recyclables and litter are returned and weighed. Free t-shirts are given to all who participate. All residents, businesses, and civic groups are invited to help.

Details about the next "Clean Communities Day" will be posted on the website's home page as the date approaches. For additional information, contact Randolph's Clean Communities Coordinator at 973-989-7050. Learn more about New Jersey's Clean Communities program.
